Pierce-Sanford

Melissa Rene`e Pierce and August Daniel Sanford were married May 7, 2005, in an outdoor cemetery in Benton, Mo. The Rev. Naamon Eaker performed the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Steve and Sherri Pierce of Cape Girardeau, and Roy and Shirley Sanford of Benton.

The bride was presented in marriage by her parents and son.

Matron of honor was Rhonda Govro of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaid was LaShea Worley of Benton.

William Klingel of Jackson was best man. Groomsman was SFC John Worley Jr. of Benton.

Guest book attendants were Shawna Klingel, niece of the groom, and Jennifer Pierce, sister of the bride.

The reception and dance was held at the American Legion Hall in Benton.

The couple is residing in Benton.
