Phillips-Connette

Julia Grace Phillips and Andrew Bradley Connette were married Aug. 7, 2004, in Wrightsville Beach, N.C. The Rev. Albert Stone Jr. performed the ceremony.

Tomme Kornegay of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Richard Gilmore of Cape Girardeau are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of the Rev. and Mrs. Edward Connette of Wilmington, N.C.

The bride was presented in marriage by her sister, Tammy Gilmore of Colorado Springs.

Maid of honor was Tammy Gilmore. Bridesmaid was Mitzi Thrapp of Fort Worth, Texas.

Grady Hammett of Houston, Texas, was best man. Groomsman was Woody Connette of Charlotte, N.C., brother of the groom.

Flower girl was Katherine Clapp of Raleigh, N.C., niece of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the groom's parents.

After a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple is residing in Columbia, S.C.
