Phillips - Nabors

Morganne Elizabeth Phillips and Andrew Shaye Nabors were married Dec. 29, 2012, at the Bavarian Halle in Jackson. James Green performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mark and Kellie Phillips of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Dale and Susan Nabors of Cape Girardeau.

Maids of honor were Mehgan Quinn of Bowling Green, Mo., cousin of the bride; Hannah Fisher of Jackson; Vivien Jimenez of Cincinnati, Ohio, cousin of the bride; Jennifer Auer and Amanda Nabors of Jackson, sisters of the groom; Alli Kluesner of Cape Girardeau and Jessica Mulliniks of Jackson, Tenn. Junior bridesmaid was Macy Green of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the bride.

Graham Ritter of Cape Girardeau was best man. Groomsmen were Alex and Casey Nabors of Cape Girardeau, brothers of the groom; Luke Phillips of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride; Jimmy Auer of Jackson, brother-in-law of the groom; Tyler McCormack of Cape Girardeau and Tommy Mulliniks of Jackson, Tenn. Ushers were Alexander Quinn of Illinois, cousin of the bride, and Trent Davis of Cape Girardeau.

Candlelighters were Gavin and Carson Green, children of James and Christina Green and cousins of the bride.

Flower girls were Maddie, Jaidyn, Alexis and Avalyn Auer, daughters of Jimmy and Jennifer Auer and nieces of the groom. Ringbearer was Trace Green, son of James and Christina Green and cousin of the bride.

The reception was held at the Bavarian Halle.

The rehearsal dinner was held Dec. 28 at Pasta House Co., hosted by both families.

Mrs. Nabors is a 2010 graduate of Central High School. She is pursuing a bachelor of arts degree in communication studies at Southeast Missouri State University. She is a substitute teacher with Cape Girardeau School District.

The groom is a 2009 graduate of Central High School. He is a member of the U.S. Army Reserve. He is employed by Oak Creek Properties Construction.

After a wedding trip to Destin, Fla., the couple is residing in Jackson.
