Julianne Nicole Penny and Ashley Christopher Eddleman were married Nov. 11, 2006, in the South Campus Celebration Center of New McKendree United Methodist Church. The Revs. Richard Northcutt and Gerald Huff performed the ceremony. Guitarist was Fred Burgard, and soloists were Alisha Curtis, Nikki Hendrix and Burgard, all of Cape Girardeau.

The bride is the daughter of Terry and Joyce Penny of Jackson. The groom is the son of Harley Eddleman Jr. and Jeanie Eddleman of Marble Hill, Mo.

Matrons of honor were Rachel Penny, sister-in-law of the bride, and Amy Franklin, sister of the bride, both of Jackson. Bridesmaids were Nikki Hendrix, Angelia Scarber of Cape Girardeau, Beth Hammond of DeSoto, Mo., and Margery Wickham of Cape Girardeau.

Rick Byland and Travis Boyer of Marble Hill were best men. Groomsmen were Jeremy Penny, brother of the bride; Blake Irvin, Billy Lesar and Milo Emanie, all of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Joshua Martin of Cape Girardeau and Ron Zurbriggen of Scott City.

Ringbearer was Carson Franklin, nephew of the bride.

Kim Straedey attended the guest book.

The reception was held at the American Legion Hall in Jackson. Servers were Jane Foeste, Barb Kinsey, Jamie DeMent, Joella Smith, Leah Wright and Josh Littrell.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at the church celebration center.

Mrs. Eddleman is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is a legal assistant with McMenamin and Verhines, LLC, in Cape Girardeau.

The groom is a graduate of Southeast. He is employed at National Assets Recovery Service.

After a wedding trip to Las Vegas, Nev., the couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
