SIKESTON, Mo. -- Crystal Dawn Payne and Mark Allan Adams were married Dec. 12, 2008, in The Wedding Chapel at Harveys in Lake Tahoe, Nev.

The bride is the daughter of Thadd and Cindy Koonce and Lonnie Payne of Midland, Texas. The groom is the son of Mark T. and Tamera Adams of Sikeston.

Mrs. Adams received an associate of applied science degree in nursing from Midland College. She is a registered nurse in obstetrics at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital in Sweetwater, Texas.

The groom received a bachelor of science degree in mining engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla. He is employed with USG in Sweetwater.

The couple is residing in Sweetwater.
