Parker - Burrows

Lindsey Yvonne Parker and Michael Allen Burrows were united in marriage Sept. 27, 2008, at the home of her father and stepmother in Newport News, Va. Ben Collett performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Yvonne Parker of Jackson and Roger and Denise Parker of Newport News. The groom is the son of Georgia and Travis Day Sr. of Ironton, Mo., and the late Stephen Burrows.

Matron of honor was the bride's mother.

The bride's father was best man.

The reception was held at the Parker home in Newport News.

Mrs. Burrows is a 2008 graduate of Jackson High School.

Burrows was home schooled. He is in the U.S. Army and is serving with the Military Police in West Point, N.Y.

After a wedding trip to Virginia Beach, Va., the couple will reside at West Point.
