Elizabeth Ale Nussbaum and Anthony Dominic Gragnani were married Sept. 21, 2013, in Firestone Baars Chapel at Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri. The Rev. Betsy Happel performed the ceremony. Readers were Justin Gibbs of Washington, D.C., and Eric Johnson of Columbia.
Organist was Michael Bancroft of Columbia, vocalist was Robyn Hosp of Jackson, and music was by Prairie Strings Quartet of Columbia.
Parents of the couple are David and Sarah Nussbaum of Cape Girardeau, and Nick and Jan Gragnani of St. Louis.
Maids of honor were Lauren Palmer of St. Louis and Brittany Barnes of Kansas City, Missouri. Bridesmaids were Amy Spence and Jayme Dinter of Columbia, Emily Schmitz and Kelley Dumey of St. Louis.
The groom chose his brother, Joseph Gragnani, and Lucas Guffey, both of St. Louis, as best men. Groomsmen were Andrew Nussbaum, brother of the bride; Ben Smith and Jon Dinter, all of Columbia, and Ricky Fauth of St. Louis. Ushers were Joe Palmer of St. Louis, Adam Taylor, Steve Spence and Will Ross, all of Columbia, and Marcus James of Wichita, Kansas.
Program attendants were Nicole Meyer of Perryville, Missouri, and Lorin Fahrmeier of Lexington, Missouri.
A dinner and dance reception was held in the Lela Raney Wood Ballroom at Stephens College.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 20 at Bleu Restaurant and Wine Bar in Columbia.
Mrs. Gragnani is a 2004 graduate of Jackson High School, received a bachelor of journalism degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2008, and a master of education in school counseling from Stephens College in 2013. She is a school counselor with North Callaway School District in Kingdom City, Missouri.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of Lindbergh High School in St. Louis. He received a bachelor of science degree in education in 2006, a master of curriculum and development in 2007, and a specialist degree in administrative leadership in 2013, all from UM-C. He is an assistant principal with Columbia School District at Hickman High School.
Following a wedding trip to Hermann, Missouri, the couple is residing in Columbia.
