Kaffee Lynn Noffel and William Banister Hopkins were married June 30, 2001, at the home of her parents. Dr. Clayton L. Smith performed the double ring ceremony. Music was by the string trio of Melvin Gilhaus, Steve and Stephanie Schaffner, all of Cape Girardeau.
Dr. and Mrs. S. Edwin Noffel of Cape Girardeau are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Kleger of Pompano Beach, Fla.
Matron of honor was Nancy Miller of Memphis, Tenn., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Edwina Johnson of Knoxville, Tenn., and Sara Summerour of Atlanta, Ga., sisters of the bride. Junior bridesmaids were Meredith and Katharine Miller of Memphis, nieces of the bride.
Dr. Robert Miller III of Memphis served the groom as best man, and groomsmen were Dr. Paul Johnson of Knoxville and James Summerour III of Atlanta, all brothers-in-law of the bride.
Ringbearers were Andrew Miller II of Memphis and Edwin Summerour of Atlanta, nephews of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance was held at the Noffel home.
A family dinner was held June 29 at Mollies Cafe and Bar.
The bride is a graduate of Central High School and the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is vice president of account service at Fletcher, Martin, Ewing.
The groom is a graduate of Pompano Beach High school and Michigan State University. He is self-employed in real estate.
The couple resides in Atlanta.
