Jennifer Ng and Derek Helderman were married April 23, 2016, at The Old Post Office in St. Louis. Gary Goodrich, friend of the couple, performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Roger and Cecilia Ng of St. Louis. The groom is the son of Aaron and Mary Beth Helderman of Whitewater.
Matrons of honor were Anne Austin of Pacifica, California, friend of the bride; and Laura Heflin of Asheboro, North Carolina, friend of the bride.
The flower girl was Tashari Ng, niece of the bride and daughter of Ben and Jill Ng of Milwaukee.
The ring bearer was Jacob Ng, nephew of the bride and son of Ben and Jill Ng of Milwaukee.
The best man was Matt Helderman of St. Louis, brother of the groom. Groomsman was Tyler Lueckenhoff of Atchison, Kansas, friend of the groom.
The wedding reception was held at The Old Post Office in St. Louis.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at The Block in the Central West End in St. Louis.
Jennifer received a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering and a Master of Science Degree in industrial engineering with emphasis in human factors and ergonomics, both from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. She is a test engineer at The Boeing Co. in St. Louis.
Derek is a graduate of Delta High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in human environmental studies with emphasis in dietetics from Southeast Missouri State University. He is a graduate of the dietetic internship program at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He is an education and quality management dietitian at the St. Louis Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
After a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple lives in University City, Missouri.
