Brooke Victoria Morris and Jered Michael Wayland were married June 16, 2012, in St. Vincent's Chapel at Chaumette Winery in Ste. Genevieve, Mo. Mark Carbaugh performed the ceremony. Organist was Dr. Mary Alberici, and vocalist was Samantha Gross.
The bride is the daughter of Sally Hale of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Jeffrey and Janice Wayland of Youngstown, N.Y., and William and Janice Fisher of Pasadena, Md.
The bride was escorted by her uncle, Robert Hale of Cape Girardeau.
Maid of honor was Nicole Gaither of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Samantha Gross, Emily Gerlach and Ali Yuen, all of Cape Girardeau. Junior bridesmaid was Kaitlyn Todd, daughter of Keith and Tisha Todd of Cape Girardeau.
Steven Wayland of Bowie, Md., was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Dr. Trevor Qualls and Dr. Tyler Qualls of Southaven, Miss., and Dr. Ryan Novak of Hickory Hills, Ill. Ushers were Matthew Bartlett of Jackson and Daniel Schaab of Valles Mines, Mo.
Flower girl was Jordahn Cook, daughter of Jerry and Krisinda Cook of Cape Girardeau.
The reception was held in the ballroom at Chaumette Winery.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 15 at the winery.
Mrs. Wayland is a 2009 graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University in December.
The groom is a graduate of LaSalle High School in Niagara Falls, N.Y. He received a bachelor of science degree in biomedical sciences from the University of Buffalo in 2004, a doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2008, and an advanced upper cervical chiropractic degree in 2009. He is owner of Kessinger Specific Chiropractic in Cape Girardeau.
After a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
