Zion United Methodist Church was the setting Sept. 2, 2006, for the wedding of Kristin Dianne Miller and Richard Lee Thomas. The Rev. Ann B. Mowery performed the ceremony. Organist was Susan Hatley of Cape Girardeau, and vocalists were Chip and Jamie Sepulvado of Jackson.

The bride is the daughter of Kathryn Miller of Jackson, and the late Kenneth Miller. Thomas is the son of Richard and Rebecca Thomas of Silex, Mo.

Maid of honor was Julie Deneke of Gordonville, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Melissa Miller of Cape Girardeau, sister-in-law of bride; Lori Zoll of Springfield, Mo.; and Allison Sherinski of St. Charles, Mo.

DeeWayne Wilson of Glee, Wash., was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Kirk Miller of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride; Ian Dunlap of Jefferson City, Mo., and Dustin Wasson of Perry, Mo. Ushers were Greg Miller, cousin of the bride, and Jamie Fletchall, both of Kansas City, Mo.

Flower girl was Megan Wilson, daughter of DeeWayne and Deanna Wilson and niece of the groom. Ringbearer was Justin Thomas of Silex, son of Kristin Ledbetter, and the late Justin Thomas.

Greeter was Jonathan Deneke, son of James and Debbie Deneke of Gordonville and cousin of the bride.

The reception was held at Elks Lodge in Cape Girardeau. Servers were Cindy Rodgers, Mary Gray and Carrie Stroup.

James and Debbie Deneke hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 1 at their home.

Mrs. Thomas is a graduate of Jackson High School and Southeast Missouri State University. She is a second grade teacher with Advance School District in Advance, Mo.

The groom is a graduate of Silex High School and Northwest Missouri State University. He is pursuing a master's degree in secondary education at Southeast. He is an agriculture education teacher with Advance School District.

The couple resides in Advance.
