CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Jennifer Louise Miller and Daniel Lee Barnes were married May 28, 2011, at United Methodist Church in Charleston. The Rev. Roger Barnes of Meeker, Colo., performed the ceremony, and Dan Faust of Charleston gave the blessing of the marriage.
Cellist was Kristen Foster of Jefferson City, Mo., trumpeter was Brooke Privett of Kennett, Mo., organist was Matt Palisch of Jackson, and vocalist was Melody Stone of Cape Girardeau.
Parents of the couple are Kevin and Melinda Miller and Dr. Charles and Sharon Barnes of Charleston.
Maid of honor was Brittany Fitzgerald of Houston, Mo., and bridesmaids were Laura Berkbigler of Cape Girardeau, Janeen Hankinson of Montgomery City, Mo., and Stephanie Pullen of Sikeston, Mo.
Tadd Rogers of Charleston was best man. Groomsmen were Jake Englaender of Maryland Heights, Mo., Bear Walters of Moro, Ill., and Tony Fouts of Barnhart, Mo. Ushers were Jesse Miller of De Soto, Mo., and Brennon Vogt of Godfrey, Ill.
Flower girls were Avery, Addison and Grace Barnes of Murray, Ky., nieces of the groom. Ringbearers were Sam McManus of Concordia, Mo., cousin of the bride, and Bryce Barnes of Murray, nephew of the groom.
The reception, hosted by the bride's parents, was held at the church's Family Life Center.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner May 27 at the center.
Mrs. Barnes received a bachelor's degree in music education from Southeast Missouri State University. She is an elementary music teacher with Wilton Community School District in Wilton, Iowa.
The groom received a bachelor of science degree in economics from Southeast. He is attending the University of Iowa College of Law in Iowa City.
The couple is residing in Iowa City.
