Mayfield - Abbott

Lindsey Jo Mayfield and Dylan Lee Abbott were married Sept. 21, 2013, at Little Whitewater Baptist Church in Patton, Mo. The Rev. Donald Slatton performed the ceremony. Pianist was Adam Walker of Patton.

The bride is the daughter of Randy Mayfield of Sedgewickville, Mo., and the late Carol Mayfield. The groom is the son of Harry and Jackie Abbott of Old Appleton.

Maid of honor was Hannah Craft of Sedgewickville. Bridesmaids were Melissa Weston of Farmington, Mo.; Chantelle Reagan of Biehle, Mo.; Alicia Vandeven of Leopold, Mo., sister-in-law of the bride; Chelsea Abbott of Old Appleton, sister-in-law of the groom; Trish Peterson of Park Hills, Mo.; Cassandra Bynum of Sedgewickville; and Heather Thorne of Patton.

Justin Aden of Oak Ridge was best man. Groomsmen were Aaron Valleroy of Perryville, Mo., cousin of the groom; Ethan Mayfield of Sedgewickville and Michael Vandeven of Leopold, brothers of the bride; Chris Abbott of Old Appleton, brother of the groom; Garrett Pohlmann of Old Appleton, cousin of the groom; Kaz Lange of Old Appleton; and Adam Noce of Oak Ridge.

Miniature bride was Jocelyn Vandeven, daughter of Mike and Alicia Vandeven and niece of the bride. Junior groom was Jaiden Shah, son of Sam and Tara Shah of St. Charles, Mo., and cousin of the groom.

Candlelighter was Lauren Shah, daughter of Sam and Tara Shah and cousin of the groom.

Flower girls were Kensley Abbott and Maddison Shah. Kensley is the daughter of Chris and Chelsea Abbott and niece of the groom. Maddison is the daughter of Sam and Tara Shah and cousin of the groom. Ringbearer was Hunter Vandeven, son of Mike and Alicia Vandeven and nephew of the bride.

The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson. Program attendant was Khalin Shah, son of Sam and Tara Shah and cousin of the groom. Kyla McDowell of Jackson, cousin of the bride, attended the guest book. Cake servers were Nancy McDowell of Jackson, aunt of the bride, and Elaine Hoffman of Old Appleton, aunt of the groom.

The rehearsal dinner was held Sept. 20 at Thousand Oaks Winery in Patton.

Mrs. Abbott is a 2008 graduate of Meadow Heights High School, and a 2012 graduate of Mineral Area College. She is a registered nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Saint Francis Medical Center.

The groom is a 2008 graduate of Oak Ridge High School, and a 2012 graduate of Mineral Area College. He is ops manager with Rhodes 101 Stops.

After a wedding trip to Pensacola, Fla., the couple is residing in Sedgewickville.
