St. Andrew Lutheran Church was the setting Aug. 17, 2002, for the wedding of Bevin Christine May and Craig Joseph Guth. The Rev. Paul Short performed the ceremony. Organist was Diane Daume of Cape Girardeau and soloist was Shana Eubanks of Dexter, Mo.
Parents of the couple are Kurt and Erin May of Whitewater, and Charles and Janis Guth of Jackson.
Maid of honor was Tracy Guth of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom. Bridesmaid was Katie Summers of Hahira, Ga., cousin of the bride.
Lane Lummus of Chillicothe, Mo., was best man. Groomsman was Cody May of Tulsa, Okla., brother of the bride. Ushers were Todd Ellis of Cape Girardeau and Alan East of Jackson.
Flower girl was Grace Morrison, daughter of Howell and Donna Morrison of Tampa, Fla., and cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Benjamin Mickan, son of Curtis and Tonya Mickan of Jackson, and cousin of the groom.
Candlelighters were Jodie Summers of Hahira and Ashley Morrison of Sarasota, Fla.
Taylor Anderson, cousin of the groom, attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Deerfield Lodge.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at Port Cape Girardeau.
Mrs. Guth is a 1996 graduate of Jackson High School, and a 2002 graduate of Southeast Missouri Hospital College of Nursing. She is a registered nurse in the Emergency Department at Southeast Hospital.
The groom is a 1991 graduate of Central High School. He is employed at BioKyowa Inc.
The couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
