Lisa Lynn Maune and Gregory Louis Kuntz were married Sept. 28, 2002, at St. John's Gildehaus Church in Villa Ridge, Mo. The Rev. Jeff Knight performed the ceremony. Lectors were Laura Freese of St. Charles, Mo., and Michelle Weimert of St. Louis Park, Minn. Vocalist was Marilyn Zeitzmann of New Haven, Mo.
Giftbearers were Ernest and Laura Maune of Sunnyvale, Calif., godparents of the bride.
Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Maune of Villa Ridge are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Edwin C. Kuntz of Cape Girardeau.
Matron of honor was Dawn Walde of Marthasville, Mo. Bridesmaids were Lisa Brueggenjohan of Creve Coeur, Mo.; Vicki Jacquin of Marthasville; Samantha Maune of Union, Mo., and Tiffany Maune of Villa Ridge, both sisters of the bride.
Chris Kuntz of Paducah, Ky., served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Jason Welker of St. Louis, Matt Sander of Olathe, Kan., Brett Saunier of St. Louis, and John Boschert of Kansas City, Mo. Ushers were Adam Maune of Washington, Mo., brother of the bride, and Dan Raines of Scott City.
Candlelighters were Cecilia Kuntz of Columbia, Mo., and Gina Kuntz of Cape Girardeau, sisters of the groom.
Deena Kuntz of Paducah, sister-in-law of the groom, attended the guest book. Greeter was Aimee Maune of Washington, sister-in-law of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Elks Lodge in Washington.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 27 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Washington.
Mrs. Kuntz is a graduate of St. Francis Borgia High School in Washington. She received a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla. She is a highway designer with Missouri Department of Transportation in St. Louis.
The groom is a graduate of Notre Dame High School. He received a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the university at Rolla, and a master of science in civil engineering from the University of Kansas in Lawrence. He is a bridge designer with HDR Engineering Inc. in St. Louis.
After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple is residing in St. Louis.
