Jennifer Jo Manker and James Alan Weber were married Dec. 1, 2001, at Larimore Plantation in St. Louis. The Rev. Clela Anderson of St. Louis performed the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Sharon Manker of Cape Girardeau, and the late Joseph Manker. The groom is the son of Charles and Marilyn Weber of St. Louis.
The bride was escorted by her uncle, Charles Thomas of Thebes, Ill., and presented in marriage by her mother.
Maid of honor was Alicia Manker of Cape Girardeau, sister of the bride. Matron of honor was Jami Staniszewski of Tampa, Fla. Bridesmaids were Tracy Osterwise of Lewisville, Texas, sister of the groom, and Sherry Brown of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the bride.
Brian Slezak of Kansas City, Mo., served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Scott Toll of Cape Girardeau; Rob Osterwise of Lewisville, brother-in-law of the groom; and Brandon Weber of High Ridge, Mo., cousin of the groom.
Flower girl was Ashlyn Brown, daughter of Randy and Sherry Brown and cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Tyler Manker, son of the bride.
Holly Weber of St. Louis, cousin of the groom, attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, a dinner, reception and dance was held at the Plantation.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at Country Buffet in St. Louis.
Mrs. Weber is a 1996 graduate of Venice High School in Venice, Fla.
The groom is a 1995 graduate of Northwest High School in St. Louis. He is employed by Southwestern Bell in Cape Girardeau.
After a wedding trip in the St. Louis area, the couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
