ADVANCE, Mo. -- Alisa Aleen Long and Ross Daniel McFerron were united in marriage March 24, 2007, in St. Vincent's In-the-Vineyards Chapel at Chaumette Vineyards and Winery in Ste. Genevieve, Mo. The Rev. Rocky Good of Farmington, Mo., performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Paul and Christine Long of DeSoto, Mo. The groom is the son of Kenny and Jan McFerron of Advance.
Matron of honor was Jennifer Lee of DeSoto, sister of the bride.
Ryan Kloeppel of Westphalia, Mo., was best man. Ushers were Travis Elliott of Buffalo, Mo., and Dave Martin of St. Charles, Mo.
Guest book attendants were Kim Dickinson, Miranda Nelp, and Nicole Birdsill of DeSoto.
The reception was held at the winery.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner March 23 at Cafe Ste. Genevieve.
Mrs. McFerron is a 2001 graduate of DeSoto High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in mass communication from Southeast Missouri State University in 2004. She is the adult development and resources manager at Girl Scouts Heart of Missouri Council in Jefferson City, Mo.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of Advance High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in political science from Southeast in 2004, and graduated May 13 from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law. He will practice law with the firm of Osburn, Hine, Kuntze, Yates and Murphy in Cape Girardeau, beginning in August.
The couple will move to Cape Girardeau in August.
