Lynwood Baptist Church was the setting April 20, 2002, for the wedding of Valerie Kay Letgrate and John Eric Bollinger. The Revs. Donny Ford and Mike Parry performed the double ring ceremony. Soloist was Cari Noel of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the bride.

Parents of the bride are Cynthia Letgrate of Cape Girardeau and Wayne Letgrate of Scott City, Mo. The groom is the son of Ralph and Ilanda Bollinger of Jackson.

Heather Abbott of Kansas City was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Cari and Millie Noel, cousins of the bride.

Best man was David Sheets of Palmetto, Ga. Groomsmen were Randy McWilson of Jackson, Mo., and Kyle Griffith of St. Louis. Ushers were Ross Bollinger of Granger, Ind., nephew of the groom, and Joseph Murphy of McClure, Ill., nephew of the bride.

Flower girl was Amber Murphy, daughter of Gene and Candi Murphy of McClure and niece of the bride. Ringbearer was Jacob Rhodes, son of Scott and Cheryl Rhodes of Advance, Mo., and cousin of the groom.

Candlelighters were Connie Dudley and Jessica Wilkinson.

Candi Murphy, sister of the bride, and Kelly Smith attended the guest book.

The reception was held at the church.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner April 19 at the church.

Mrs. Bollinger received a bachelor of science degree in child development from Southeast Missouri state University. She is employed at Head Start in Chaffee, Mo.

The groom served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps, and received a bachelor of science degree in recreation from Southeast University. He is employed at Nordenia USA Inc.

The couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
