Sherry Rene Kuehn and Derrick James Friese were married June 26, 2004, at Hurricane Fork Baptist Church in Scopus, Mo. Andrew Sanders performed the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Terry and Cindy Kuehn of Jackson, and James and Lisa Friese of Sedgewickville, Mo.
Maid of honor was Rachael Kluesner of Jackson. Bridesmaids were Ashley Seabaugh and Leann Walther of Jackson, cousins of the groom.
Jerid Friese of Scopus, cousin of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Curt Kuehn, brother of the bride, and Jeremy Seabaugh, cousin of the groom, both of Jackson. Ushers were Scott Sterling, cousin of the bride; Tyler Jones' Garry Seabaugh, uncle of the groom, all of Jackson; and Dusty Schoen of Oak Ridge, cousin of the groom.
Candlelighters were Michelle Kluesner and Amy Sterling. Michelle is the daughter of Randy and Pam Kluesner of Jackson. Amy is the daughter of Dan and Sue Sterling of Jackson and cousin of the bride.
Flower girls were Kari Kuehn and Sydney McClanahan, and ringbearer was Jack McGaha. Kari is the daughter of Randy and Chris Kuehn of Jackson and cousin of the bride. Sydney is the daughter of Jenny and John Manche of Frohna, Mo., and cousin of the groom. Jack is the son of Dave and Pattie McGaha of Georgia and cousin of the bride.
Guest book attendants were Kimmy Kuehn, cousin of the bride, and Britnie Jones, both of Jackson.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Cape County Coon Hunters Lodge at Daisy. Servers were Chris Kuehn, Sue Sterling, aunts of the bride, and Gail Seabaugh, aunt of the groom, all of Jackson.
The rehearsal dinner was held June 25 at the church.
Mrs. Friese is a 2003 graduate of Jackson High School. She is a dental assistant for Dr. John Freeze in Cape Girardeau.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Meadow Heights High School at Patton, Mo. He is a technician with William Nobbe John Deere in Jackson.
After a wedding trip to Lake of the Ozarks, the couple is residing at Daisy.
