Sherry Lynn Keene and John Calmore Stallings III were united in marriage Sept. 6, 2008, at Kiwanis Park in Cape Girardeau. Zack Strong performed the ceremony. Music was by James Keene and Nicole Ramsey of Jackson.
The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Wanda Keene of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of John Stallings II of Charleston, Mo., and the late Patricia Stallings.
Maid of honor was Rebecca Keene of Chaffee, Mo., daughter of the bride.
Dalton Stallings of Charleston, son of the groom, was best man. Usher was Tyler Keene of Morgantown, N.C., cousin of the bride.
The reception was held at the park. Servers were Melissa Loftus of Grafton, Ill., Terry Keene of Rochester, Minn., Rachel Aspinwall of Salem, Mo., and Trish Keene of Morgantown, aunts of the bride.
Mrs. Stallings is a junior at Southeast Missouri State University, majoring in exceptional child education.
The groom received a bachelor of science degree in agribusiness from Southeast in 2008. He is the Southern Illinois crop consultant with Opti-Crop of Owensboro, Ky.
The couple is residing in Charleston.
