JACKSON, Mo. -- Gretchen Anne Kasten and Mark Anthony Clardy were married June 23, 2001, at St. Paul Lutheran Church. The Rev. David Johnson performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Orville Perr Jr. and harpist was Emily Bertrand, both of Jackson. Vocalist was Sara Johnson of Nashville, Tenn.
Parents of the bride are Brad and Vickie Kasten of Jackson. The groom is the son of John and Linda Clardy of Jefferson City, Mo.
Elizabeth Riffe of Kansas City, Mo., was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Katherine Russell of Indianapolis, Ind.; Tami Martin of Philadelphia, Pa.; Kate Froning of Bland, Mo., Jill Weber of Carbondale, Ill.; Nicolle Hiles of St. Louis; Jennifer Jordan of Jefferson City, sister of the groom; and Kelley Kasten of Jackson, sister of the bride.
Best man was Jon Vernon of St. Louis. Groomsmen were Brian Luetkemeyer of Jefferson City; Ryan Panages of St. Louis; Doug Caskey of Denver, Colo.; Dave Bley of Denver, Colo.; Matt Cole of Houston, Texas; and Ryan Kasten of Providence, R.I., brother of the bride. Ushers were James Keown of Kansas City, Bart Berry of St. Louis, and Chris Jordan of Jefferson City, brother-in-law of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance was held at Drury Lodge in Cape Girardeau.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 22 at Celebrations in Cape Girardeau.
Mrs. Clardy is a 1990 graduate of Jackson High School, and a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is sales manager with Drury Hotels in St. Louis.
The groom is a 1989 graduate of Jefferson City High School, and a graduate of Columbia College. He is a securities trader with J.A. Glynn in St. Louis.
After a wedding trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, the couple resides in St. Louis.
