Sara E. Johnston and Cody A. Davidson were married Oct. 3, 2009, at Old McKendree Chapel in Jackson. The Rev. Sam Roethemeyer performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jeff and Bev Johnston of Jackson. The groom is the son of Kristy Davidson of Malden, Mo., and Vernon Davidson of Jackson.
Maid of honor was Lauren Johnston of Jackson, sister of the bride. Bridesmaid was Abby Ramsey of Farmington, Mo., niece of the bride.
Nathen Glastetter of Chaffee, Mo., was best man. Groomsman was Aaron Miller of Malden, brother of the groom. Ushers were Travis and Austin Friese of Jackson, cousins of the bride.
The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson. Servers were Darlene Friese of Oak Ridge and Martha Friese of Jackson, aunts of the bride.
Mrs. Davidson is a 2008 graduate of Jackson High School, and attended Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center. She is employed at Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse.
The groom is a 2008 graduate of Kelly High School at Benton, Mo. He is employed at Walmart Supercenter in Cape Girardeau.
After a wedding trip to Florida, the couple is residing in Pocahontas.
