Katie Jenkins and David Andrew Roach were married June 21, 2008, at Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer, Mo. The Rev. Milton Ryan performed the ceremony. Pianist was Cheryl Oberhaus and vocalist was Alan Bruns, both of Cape Girardeau.
Parents of the bride are Matt and Susan Jenkins of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Teri and Joe Yant and David Roach, all of Morehouse, Mo.
Maid of honor was Lauren Jackson of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Meemee Scheffer of Millersville; Deedee Minner of Oak Ridge; Angela Weibrecht of Perryville, Mo., cousin of the bride; Valerie Brown of Morehouse, cousin of the groom; and Tricia Bremer of Cape Girardeau.
Allen Brown of Morehouse, cousin of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Ralph Boester of St. Louis; Kyle Brophy of Lake St. Louis; Andrew Brown of Morehouse, cousin of the groom; Cole Jenkins of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride; and Solomon Dell of St. Louis. Ushers were Raymond Mattingly of Perryville, cousin of the bride, and Brian Rhodes of Cape Girardeau.
Flower girls and ringbearer were Kelsey, Courtney and Ethan Baldwin, cousins of the bride. They are the children of Brian and Patty Baldwin of Pevely, Mo.
The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Perryville. Servers were Cody, Clayton, Landon and Logan Ellis of Katy, Texas, cousins of the bride; Kim Wilson of Morehouse; Billie Heaton of Columbia, Mo.; and Kathy Brown of Morehouse, cousin of the groom.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 20 at the American Legion Hall in Perryville.
Mrs. Roach is a 2004 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor's degree in general studies from Southeast Missouri State University in 2007. She is studying for a job in the IT field.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Richland High School at Essex, Mo. He received a bachelor of science degree in computer science from Southeast in 2005. He is a systems analyst with RGA Technology Partners Inc. in Chesterfield, Mo.
The couple is residing in Chesterfield.
