Jansen-Stroehlein

Valerie Jane Jansen and Jason Michael Stroehlein were married Feb. 25, 2006, on the beach at Moon Palace Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Pedro Solis-Rodriguez performed the ceremony. Traditional Mexican wedding music was provided.

The bride is the daughter of Ken and Carolyn Jansen of Jackson. The groom is the son of Roger and Debbie Stroehlein of Cobden, Ill.

Witnesses were Eric Jansen of Jackson, brother of the bride; Kristi Williams of Steamboat Springs, Colo.; Jeff Stroehlein of Cobden, brother of the groom; and Drew Williams of Steamboat Springs.

A dinner was held on the terrace of the resort.

A reception was held March 4 at Bavarian Halle in Jackson. Servers were Julie Fisher, cousin of the bride, and Bridget Gruender. Alicia Hankins, cousin of the bride, attended the guest book.

After a stay at the resort, the couple resides in Montrose, Colo.
