Sara K. Jansen and Phillip W. Perry exchanged vows July 8, 2006, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rockport, Texas. The Rev. Bill Marquis will officiate. Pianist was Kelly Irvin of Leopold, Mo., cousin of the bride. Kristy and Steve Branson of Nashville, Tenn., sister and brother-in law of the bride, played and sang.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Marilyn Jansen of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Wesley and Judy Perry of Claremont, Fla.
Matron of honor was Kristy Branson. Bridesmaids were Jill Ostendorf of London, England, Kadie DeLay of New York, N.Y., Sarah Fry of Austin, Texas, Julie Buford and Laura McClard of Cape Girardeau. Junior bridesmaid was Jordyn Levings of Tulsa, Okla., niece of the groom.
The groom chose his father as best man. Groomsmen were Tom Ledoux, Jamie Ridge and Benny Landrum, all of Houston, Texas. Ushers were Steve Branson, and Joseph Greene of Jefferson City, cousin of the bride.
Candlelighters were Cindy Lindle of Louisville, Ky., and Mary Rau of St. Louis.
Flower girl was Elise Buford, daughter of Shannon and Julie Buford. Ringbearer was Kaleb Levings, son of Mark and Tina Levings of Tulsa and nephew of the groom.
Guest book attendants were Jill Irvin and Courtney and Kaitlin Baughn, cousins of the bride.
The reception was held at Rockport Country Club.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner July 7 at Beachfront Pavilion in Rockport.
Mrs. Perry is a 1996 graduate of Notre Dame High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in computer science from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2000. She received a master of arts degree in industrial organizational psychology from the University of Houston in 2006, and is pursuing a doctorate in IO psychology at the university.
The groom is a 1993 graduate of Shattuck High School in Shattuck, Okla., and served in the U.S. Air Force. He is a systems engineer at Network Appliance.
After a wedding trip to Costa Rica, the couple resides in Houston.
