LEOPOLD, Mo. -- Laura Mary Jansen and Kyle Edward Booth were married July 21, 2007, at St. John's Catholic Church. The Rev. John Harth performed the ceremony.
Reader was Cindy Jansen of Leopold, aunt of the bride. Giftbearers were Mike and Marilyn Jansen of Cape Girardeau, godparents of the bride. Mass servers were Danielle Beel, cousin of the groom, and Jordan Jansen, cousin of the bride, both of Leopold. Eucharistic ministers were Gerald and Leeann Jansen, uncle and aunt of the bride, and Stan Jansen, uncle of the bride, all of Leopold.
Organist/pianist was Alissa Vandeven of Leopold. Violinist was Mackenzie Beel of Leopold, cousin of the groom. Soloists were Sheree Grimsley and Ashley Allmon of Marble Hill, and Shelly Holzum of Jackson, cousin of the bride. Other vocalists included Tina Broshuis, Bob and Jean Clubb, all of Leopold.
Parents of the couple are Norman and JoEllen Jansen of Leopold, and Barry and Marilyn Booth of Marble Hill, Mo.
Maid of honor was Janice Jansen of Leopold, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sonya Jansen of Benton, Mo., and Denise Broom of Sikeston, Mo., sisters of the bride; Sarah Bandermann of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom; and Ashley Jansen of Olathe, Kan., cousin of the bride.
Jason Bandermann of Cape Girardeau, brother-in-law of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Robert Anderson of Glenallen, Mo., Jason Greer of Fruitland, Ryan Bandermann of Cape Girardeau, and Jered Roberts of Grassy, Mo. Ushers were Matt Fox of Cape Girardeau and Chad McCormick of Burfordville.
Miniature bride was Calli Nanney of Sikeston, niece of the bride. Junior groom was Trevor Morehead of Leopold, cousin of the groom.
Candlelighters were Jessica Manning of Arnold, Mo., and Jodi VanGennip of Cape Girardeau.
Program attendants were Jill Irvin of Leopold and Bethany Jansen of Festus, Mo., cousins of the bride; Cassidy and Shelby Sawyer of Marble Hill, cousins of the groom.
The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Leopold.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner July 20 at Harmony Methodist Church in Marble Hill.
Mrs. Booth is a 2001 graduate of Leopold High School. She received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2005. She is a first grade teacher with Caruthersville School District in Caruthersville, Mo.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Woodland High School. He received a bachelor's degree in biology from Southeast in 2005. He is employed by Missouri Department of Conservation as a conservation agent for Pemiscot County.
After a wedding trip to Mexico, the couple resides in Caruthersville.
