Brooke Kimberly Huber and Christopher Joseph Elfrink were united in marriage July 9, 2011, at St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold, Mo. The Rev. John Harth performed the ceremony. Organist was Daniel Seiler of Leopold, and soloist was Morgan Bass of Cape Girardeau.
The bride is the daughter of David and Rebecca Huber of Cape Girardeau. Nick and Geri Elfrink of Marble Hill, Mo., are parents of the groom.
Matron of honor was Kasey Siemers of Gordonville. Bridesmaids were Brittni Baker and Corrie McNeely of Cape Girardeau, and Kacie Hampton of Marble Hill, niece of the groom. Junior bridesmaid was Kara Hampton of Marble Hill, niece of the groom.
The groom chose his brother, Brad Elfrink of Cape Girardeau, as best man. Groomsmen were Dillon Huber of Union, Mo., brother of the bride; Jesse Rose and Josh Eftink of Leopold. Ushers were Victor Vandeven, Alfred Vangennip and Alex Eftink, all of Leopold.
Candlelighters were Aimee Hampton of Marble Hill, sister of the groom, and Debbie Hoffmeister of Springfield, Ill., cousin of the bride.
Flower girl was Anna Albertson, daughter of Tom and Julie Albertson of Cape Girardeau. Ringbearer was Alex Hampton, son of Chris and Aimee Hampton and nephew of the groom.
The reception was held at The Plaza by Ray's.
The rehearsal dinner was held July 7 in the cafeteria at Leopold Elementary School, hosted by the groom's parents.
Mrs. Elfrink expects to receive a bachelor's degree in child development from Southeast Missouri State University in December. She is employed at Andrew Jackson Bridal and Tuxedo.
The groom received a bachelor's degree in secondary education from Southeast. He teaches freshman and sophomore English at Woodland High School in Marble Hill.
After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple is residing in Leopold.
