CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Amy Lynn Hooker and Jamey Michael Dumey were united in marriage May 10, 2003, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. The Rev. Ralph Duffner performed the ceremony. Organist was Betty Vandeven and soloist was Angela Russell, sister of the bride, both of Chaffee.
Parents of the couple are David and Joan Hooker and Randy and Gail Dumey, all of Chaffee.
Diane Schreckenberg of Oran, Mo., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Angela Russell, sister of the bride; Tonya Eftink, Jacquelyn Eftink and Abby Walter, all of Chaffee and cousins of the groom.
Best man was Tyson Moyers of Chaffee. Groomsmen were Nick Swinford of Chaffee, Matt Curtis of Scott City, Danny Boese and David Little of Chaffee. Ushers were Danny Walter, uncle and godfather of the groom, and Gabe Walter, cousin of the groom.
Candlelighters were Amanda and Ashley Hooker of Chaffee, sisters of the bride.
Flower girl was Addison Curtis, daughter of Matt and Dusti Curtis. Ringbearer was Jordan Kinder of Chaffee, cousin of the bride.
Courtney and Chelsey Walter, cousins of the groom, attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Elks Lodge in Chaffee.
The groom's parents and his aunt, Charlotte Eftink, hosted the rehearsal dinner May 8 at the church parish hall.
Mrs. Dumey is a 1998 graduate of Chaffee High School, and attended Southeast Missouri State University. She is an administrative specialist with MedAssets HSCA Inc. in Cape Girardeau.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of Chaffee High School. He is a conductor with Burlington Northern & Santa Fe Railway.
The couple resides in Chaffee.
