Holshouser-Link

Kimberly Kay Holshouser and William Brian Link were united in marriage June 16, 2001, at St. Andrew Lutheran Church. The Rev. Paul Short performed the double ring ceremony. Harpist was Emily Bertrand, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bertrand Jr. of Jackson, Mo. Organist was Dr. Gary Miller of Cape Girardeau, and soloist was Jennifer Davey of St. Louis.

Readers were Jeff Smith of St. Louis and Amy Spencer of Tunkhannock, Pa. Bell ringers were Lanni Dickerson, Madeline Essner, Dana McLain and Millie Schnable, all cousins of the bride. Lanni is the daughter of Sandi Dickerson of Riverside, Calif., Madeline is the daughter of Kevin and Laurie Essner of Kelso, Mo., Dana is the daughter of Gary and Gina McLain of Donnington, Pa., and Millie is the daughter of Andrew and Brenda Schnable of Cary, N.C.

The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Judith Holshouser of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of William and Elsie Link of Kirkwood, Mo.

Maid of honor was Jill Gosnell of St. Louis. Bridesmaids were Stacey Wegener of St. Louis; Heather Love of Villa Ridge, Mo.; Bridget Goglia of Seattle, Wash., and Lori Link of Kirkwood, both sisters of the groom; and Deidre Jewel of Jefferson City, Mo.

Brent Trask of Kirkwood served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Jason Roedel, Mark Bender, Jodi Slinkard and Drew Griffith, all of St. Louis, and Jeff Brother of Dallas, Texas. Ushers were Steve Bender, Scott Blackmore and Matt Schindler, all of St. Louis; Fred Goglia of Seattle, brother-in-law of the groom; and Bron Launsby of Milwaukee, Wis.

Candlelighter was Juli Cooper of Festus, Mo., cousin of the bride.

Programs were handed out by Ashley McLain and Kate Schnable, cousins of the bride. Ashley is the daughter of Jerry and Bev McLain of Cincinnati, Ohio. Kate is the daughter of Andrew and Brenda Schnable.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Cape Girardeau Country Club. Servers were Joan Gleason of San Dimas, Calif., aunt of the bride; Laura Whisler of Burbank, Calif., and Leslie Sassaman of West Covina, Calif., cousins of the bride.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 15 at Port Cape Yacht Club.

Mrs. Link is a graduate of Central High School, received a bachelor of science degree in mass communication from Southeast Missouri State University, and master of arts degree in communication from St. Louis University. She is director of marketing at MDSI Connectria in St. Louis.

The groom is a graduate of Kirkwood High School, and received a bachelor of arts degree in business administration from Drury College. He is raw materials and packaging buyer with Solutia Chemical Co. in St. Louis. He is also a supply corps officer with the U.S. Naval Reserve.

The couple is residing in St. Louis.
