Nancy Rebeckah Hobbs and Brandon Heath Blattel exchanged vows Aug. 31, 2002, at First Baptist Church in Jackson. The Rev. Sam Roethemeyer performed the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Lou and Nancy Hobbs, and Jim and Doris Blattel, all of Jackson.
Jaime Williams was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelly Hitt, Jinger Sachse, Michelle Kelly, Whitney McNeely and Sarah Martin.
Best man was Ryan Walther. Groomsmen were Todd Marchi, Shawn Huston, Dean Bucher, Christopher DeCamp and Jeremy Balsman. Ushers were Bryan Yamnitz and Patrick Petitt.
Candlelighters were Cindy and Dylan Naeger.
Flower girl was Mackenzie Shearon and ringbearer was Cori Williams.
Zachery Hoehne attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 30 at their home.
Mrs. Blattel is attending Southeast Missouri State University. She is an aerobics instructor at Universal Health and Fitness Center in Cape Girardeau and Main Street Family Fitness Center in Jackson.
The groom received a bachelor of science degree in horticulture from Southeast University. He is owner of Huston Design and Landscape.
The couple is residing in Jackson.
