Beth Rose Hinkebein and Robert Scott Altenthal were married Sept. 6, 2003, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Charlie Prost performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Ralph and Jo Ann Hinkebein Sr. of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Altenthal of Cape Girardeau.
Maid of honor was Sandra Grebing. Bridesmaids were Cindy Slinkard and Becky Hinkebein, sisters of the bride.
Bryan Altenthal served his father as best man. Groomsmen were Brad and Tim Altenthal, brothers of the groom.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson.
Mrs. Altenthal is a graduate of Central High School, and received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a registered nurse at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
Altenthal is a graduate of Central High School. He is a firefighter with Cape Girardeau Fire Department.
The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
