Courtney Blake Haman and Jeffrey Howard Bourbon exchanged vows June 22, 2002, at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Douglas C. Breite performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Dottie Meyr, and soloists were Steve and Linda Meadows, all of Cape Girardeau.
Parents of the couple are Alan and Sandy Haman of Cape Girardeau and Don and Mary Bourbon of Cadet, Mo.
Julie Hogan of Cape Girardeau was maid of honor. Matron of honor was Brandy Thomas of Perryville, Mo., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Tina Bourbon of Puyallup, Wash., sister-in-law of the groom, and Kimberly Politte of Cadet, sister of the groom. Junior bridesmaid was Miranda Politte of Cadet, niece of the groom.
Best man was Don Bourbon Jr. of Puyallup, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Jarrod Thomas of Perryville, brother-in-law of the bride; Danny Lawson of Jackson, Mo., and Ryan Branstetter of Kansas City, Mo. Junior groomsman was Jordan Sheets, son of Dr. and Mrs. Jay Sheets of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Lanson Debrock and Jay Green, cousin of the bride, both of Cape Girardeau.
Flower girls were Emily Sheets and Kaleigh Jessen. Emily is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Sheets. Kaleigh is the daughter of Robert and Misty Jessen of Cadet. Ringbearers were Ryan Bourbon and Ross Politte, nephews of the groom. Ryan is the son of Don and Tina Bourbon. Ross is the son of Kimberly Politte.
Candlelighters were Regan Kelley and Brittany Bollinger of Cape Girardeau. Brittany is the daughter of Jim and Jean Bollinger and cousin of the bride.
Donny and Brenda Ross, uncle and aunt of the groom, attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson. Servers were Dottie Ross, aunt of the groom; Jean Bollinger and Joy Baker, aunts of the bride.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 21 at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
Mrs. Bourbon is a senior at Southeast Missouri State University, majoring in dietetics. She is a member of the university's track and field team. She is employed at Innovative Orthodontics.
The groom received a degree in criminal justice from Southeast University, and is certified through Missouri Police Corps. He is a patrolman with Cape Girardeau Police Department.
After a wedding trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
