OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. — Megan Elizabeth Halstead and Aaron Lee Purcell were united in marriage March 29, 2008, at the Beloved Wedding Chapel in Old Hickory, Tenn.
The bride is the daughter of H.E. "Pete" and Charlene Halstead of Linton, Ind., and formerly of Southern Illinois. The groom is the son of Randy and Susan Purcell of Carlisle, Ind.
The bride was escorted by her father and presented in marriage by both her parents.
Matron of honor was Jayme Geuss of Princeton, Ind.
Shawn Purcell of Carlisle was his brother's best man.
Flower girl was Becka Geuss of Princeton. Ringbearer was Brayden, son of the bride.
Following the ceremony, the groom's paternal grandparents, William and Dixie Purcell of Clarksville, Tenn., hosted a dinner at a Clarksville restaurant.
A reception, dinner and dance was held April 29 in Linton.
The couple resides in Linton.
