Cheryl Elizabeth Hagler and Jason Robert Hartke were married June 15, 2013, at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Bobby Manso performed the ceremony. Pianist was Cheryl Oberhaus and vocalists were Alan and Tyler Bruns, all of Cape Girardeau.
Parents of the couple are Louis and Barbara Hagler of Cape Girardeau, and Harold and Mary Beth Hartke of Teutopolis, Ill.
Maid of honor was Amber Pierce of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Tara Raddle, Angela Stone and Jessica Brinkmeyer of Cape Girardeau; Sara Elliott of Princeton, Ind., cousin of the bride; Becky Millburg of Auburn, Ill.; Michelle and Nicole Hartke of Teutopolis, nieces of the groom.
Ryan Althoff of Effingham, Ill., was best man. Groomsmen were Jason Schumacher of Teutopolis; Michael Hartke of Kearney, Mo., brother of the groom; Eric Hartke of Carterville, Ill., nephew of the groom; Louis Hagler of Phoenix, Ariz., brother of the bride; Mark Gaylord of Woodstock, Ill., Travis and Nathaniel Huffman of Carbondale, Ill.
Flower girl was Carmen McMahon of Teutopolis, niece of the groom. Ringbearer was Connor Croy of Neoga, Ill., nephew of the groom.
The reception was held at Ray's Plaza Banquet Center.
Mrs. Hartke is a 2006 graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in 2010. She is a teacher at St. Vincent de Paul Elementary School in Cape Girardeau.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Teutopolis High School. He received a bachelor's degree in finance from SIU in 2009. He is a rural development specialist with the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Marion, Ill.
After a wedding trip to Costa Rica, the couple is residing in Anna, Ill.
