Jessi Nicole Glueck and Kenneth Trent Howell were married Oct. 10, 2009, at the Water's Edge in Gordonville. The Rev. Grant Gillard performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Stephen and Donna Glueck of Scott City. The groom is the son of Cindy Howell of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and the late Kenneth Howell.
Maid of honor was Emily Glueck of Scott City, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jessica Estes of Cape Girardeau, Lyndsey Kueckelhan of Vail, Colo., and Lisa Smith of Cape Girardeau.
Brian Green of Poplar Bluff was best man. Groomsmen were Christopher Qualls of Kansas City, Mo., Josh Robison of Poplar Bluff, and Jared Griffin of Scott City. Ushers were Kyle Riddle of Cape Girardeau and Shaun O'Hara of St. Louis.
Candlelighters were Jessie Miller and Katie Bolen of Jackson, nieces of the groom.
Flower girl was Ella Mangels, daughter of Scott and Beth Mangels of Jackson and cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Dyllon Lux, son of Chris and Shashana Lux of Poplar Bluff.
Amber Dannenmueller attended the guest book. Stacy Green handed out programs.
The reception was held at the Water's Edge.
The groom's mother hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 9 at Gordonville Grill.
Mrs. Howell is a 2004 graduate of Scott City High School. She received a bachelor of arts degree in English and creative writing from Southeast Missouri State University in 2008. She is employed at Starbucks Coffee Co.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Poplar Bluff High School. He received an associate degree from Three Rivers Community College in 2003, a bachelor of science degree in political science from Southeast University in 2005, and a master's degree in public administration from Southeast in 2008. He is an adjunct professor at Southeast University, Three Rivers, and Jefferson Community College.
After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
