KELSO, Mo. - Jennifer Joyce Glastetter and Gene "Rusty" Mayfield were married Nov. 3, 2001, at St. Augustine Catholic Church. The Rev. Oliver Clavin performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Betty Ressel and vocalist was Bobby Ressel, both of Kelso.
Edward Glastetter of Kelso and Michele Evans of Scott City, Mo., are parents of the bride. The groom's parents are Gene Mayfield of Sikeston, Mo., and Evelyn Buffington of Scott City.
Maid of honor was Trisha LeGrand of Benton, Mo. Bridesmaids were Erin Guenther of St. Louis and Niki Landewee of Scott City.
Best man was Matt Schmidt of Sikeston. Groomsmen were Dennis Hinkle and Theron Ford of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were John Gockel of Cape Girardeau and Crandle Smith of St. Charles, Mo.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in St. Augustine School gymnasium. Beth Leible was guest book attendant.
Mrs. Mayfield is a 1994 graduate of Scott City High School. She is a service representative for Southwestern Bell Telephone in Cape Girardeau.
The groom is a 1989 graduate of Sikeston High School, and attended Universal Technical Institute in Houston, Texas. He is service manager at Wieser Honda in Cape Girardeau.
After a wedding trip to Paris, France, the couple resides in Scott City.
