Glastetter-James

NEW HAMBURG, Mo. -- Emily Nicole Glastetter and Brian Alan James and Tiffany Jane Glastetter and Nathen Lee King were married in a double ceremony Nov. 27, 2004, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg. The Rev. Michael J. Glastetter, cousin of the brides, performed the ceremony. Organist was Cheryl Kern and vocalists were Mary Glastetter and Jimmie Simmons.

Parents of the brides are Mike and Debbie Glastetter of New Hamburg. James is the son of Susan James of Springfield, Ill., and Ronald James of Sikeston, Mo. King is the son of Gayle and John Heeb of Scott City and Robert King of Sikeston.

The sisters were each other's maid of honor. Emily's bridesmaids were Kara Heuring and Karen Burger of New Hamburg, Denitra Holman of Benton, Mo., all cousins of the brides, and Jeannette LeGrand of Kelso, Mo. Tiffany's bridesmaids were Julie Milam of Benton; Toni Vetter of Charleston, Mo.; Katie Heeb of Bell City and Amber King of Dexter, Mo., sisters of King.

Junior bridesmaid were Kristen King, daughter of Jeff and Laura King of Sikeston and cousin of King.

Derek James of Sikeston was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were the other groom; Michael Glastetter of New Hamburg, brother of the bride; Matt Sisley of Santa Claus, Ind., and Alan Scheeter of Sikeston. Michael Davis of Sikeston was King's best man. Groomsmen were the other groom; Michael Glastetter; John Welter of Lexington, Ky.; and Jeremy Skelton of Benton. Junior groomsman was Drew Glastetter, son of Dennis and Lyndsay Glastetter of Morris, Ill., and cousin of the brides. Ushers were Greg Riley of New Hamburg, uncle of the brides; Dennis Glastetter of Morris, cousin of the brides; Sam King of Sikeston and Toby Heeb of Bell City, brothers of King.

Miniature bride and groom were Kara Heeb and Nick Glastetter. Kara is the daughter of David and Cheryl Heeb of Morley, Mo., and niece of King. Nick is the son of Dennis and Lyndsay Glastetter and cousin of the brides.

Candlelighters were Holly Newell of Sikeston; Wendy Parrish of DeSoto, Mo.; and Kendal Heeb of Morley, Mo., sister of King.

Flower girls were Riley Burger and Liza King. Ringbearer was Alex Burger. Riley and Alex are the children of Heath and Karen Burger of New Hamburg and cousins of the bride. Liza is the sister of King.

The reception, dinner and dance was held at the parish center.

Mrs. James is employed in the pulmonary department at Cape Girardeau Physician Associates. The groom is a teacher and coach with Sikeston School District.

They reside in Sikeston.

Mrs. King is a teacher and coach with Sikeston School District. The groom is a recreational officer at Southeast Correction Center in Charleston.

They reside in Benton.

Both couples plan a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, in May.
