Michelle Leigh Gentry and Eddie Pikey were married May 13, 2006, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Rennie Phillips performed the ceremony. Vocalist was Danetta Held of Cape Girardeau.

Parents of the couple are Mike and Donna Gentry of Cape Girardeau, and Tom and Linda Pikey of Scott City.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father.

Best friend of honor was Brian McIntosh of Aurora, Ill. Bridesmaids were Linda Mungle of Benton, Mo., and Mary Waldon of Omaha, Neb.

Scott Uhrhan of Scott City was best man. Groomsmen were Richard Brawley of Scott City and Rick Smith of East Cape Girardeau, Ill.

Candlelighters were mothers of the bride and groom.

Ringbearers were Carter Gentry, son of the bride and groom, and Trevor Davis, nephew of the bride. Trevor is the son of Richard and Angela Davis.

Heather Pikey, daughter of John and Misti Harrison and niece of the groom, attended the guest book.

The dinner and dance reception was held at the KC Hall. Servers were Sherei Hendrix, cousin of the bride; Angela Davis, sister of the bride; Debbie Huey and Sandy Glueck, cousins of the groom.

The bride's grandmother, Mattie O'Howell, hosted the rehearsal dinner at the KC Hall May 12.

Mrs. Pikey is a graduate of Central High School, and is attending Three Rivers Community College. She is a licensed practical nurse at Saint Francis Medical Center.

The groom is a graduate of Normal High School in Normal, Ill. He is recon manager at Adesa St. Louis in Pevely, Mo.

The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
