Jennifer Lynne Ferrell and Samuel Howard Dye were married Oct. 25, 2014, at Emanuel United Church of Christ in Jackson. The Rev. Mindy Kiepe performed the ceremony. Organist was Christy Shinn of Jackson, and string music was played by Trio Girardeaux. Vocalist was Robyn Hosp of Jackson.
Parents of the couple are Larry Ferrell and Patricia Holley of Jackson, and Steven and Mary Dye of St. Charles, Missouri.
Matrons of honor were Laura Boyle of St. Louis and Malerie Essner of Jackson. Bridesmaids were Charity Seyer of St. Louis, Erin Oberhaus of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Emily McElreath of Cape Girardeau, Christina Barth of Temple, Texas, and Felicia Goodson of St. Charles.
Paul Ross of Columbia, Missouri, was best man. Groomsmen were Benjamin Dye of St. Louis, brother of the groom; Michael Boyle of St. Louis, Brandon Barth of Temple, Steve Beattie of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Klay Camden of Riverview, Florida, and Brian Welch of Abilene, Texas. Ushers were Matthew Ferrell of Cape Girardeau and Michael Ferrell of Oxford, Mississippi, brothers of the bride.
Flower girls were Riley McDermott and Kori Kim. Ringbearer was Brendan Essner. Riley is the daughter of Charity Seyer and Brian McDermott. Kori is the daughter of Jason and Krissy Kim of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Brendan is the son of Brent and Malerie Essner.
The reception was held at The Venue in Cape Girardeau.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 24 at Steele Crest Winery in Jackson.
Jennifer is a 2004 graduate of Jackson High School. She received bachelor of science and master degrees in business administration from Lindenwood University. She is human resources manager at Cassidy Turley in St. Louis.
Samuel is a 2006 graduate of Francis Howell Central High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2011. He is a senior systems administrator at Edward Jones in St. Louis.
After a wedding trip to Belize, the couple is residing in St. Louis.
