KELSO, Mo. -- St. Augustine Catholic Church was the setting Aug. 10, 2002, for the wedding of Toni Lynne Essner and Stephen Lance Craft. The Rev. Oliver Clavin performed the ceremony. Organist was Laura Bollinger of Cape Girardeau, and vocalist was David Glastetter of Kansas City, Mo.
The bride is the daughter of Jim and Hope Essner of Kelso. The groom is the son of Gary and Darla Craft and Danny and Martha Eaker of Cape Girardeau.
Matron of honor was Tamara Glastetter of Kansas City, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amy Essner of Jackson, Suzy Gosche of Kelso, Beth Pletcher of Cape Girardeau, Gretchen Davie of Columbia, Mo., and Andrea Burford of Kelso.
Mitch Craft of Cape Girardeau served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Ty Craft of Cape Girardeau, brother of the groom; Andy Kaempfer of St. Louis, Byron Pletcher, Greg Hellwege and Nathan Weber, all of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Todd Essner of Jackson, brother of the bride, and Eric Kelley of Cape Girardeau.
Ringbearer was Nathan Glastetter of Kansas City, nephew of the bride.
Guest book and program attendants were Christa Bollinger of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the bride, and Stephanie Craft of Sikeston, Mo., cousin of the groom.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Scott City. Servers were Cathie Funderburg of St. Louis and Michelle Schirmer of Altenburg, Mo.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 9 at Cedar Street.
Mrs. Craft received a bachelor of science degree in health management from Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at St. Francis Medical Center.
The groom attended Southeast University and Arkansas State University. He is employed at Fastenal Co.
After a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple is residing in Jackson.
