LEOPOLD, Mo. -- Cindy Renee Eeftink and Derek Paul Beussink were married Nov. 1, 2003, at St. John's Catholic Church. The Rev. Lewis Hejna performed the ceremony. Organist was Diane Bradshaw of Scott City.
Parents of the bride are Richard and Geralyn Eeftink of Leopold. The groom is the son of Rick Beussink and Gwen Seabaugh of Advance, Mo.
Maid of honor was Tina Bodenstein, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kelly Eeftink, sister of the bride; Sara Ritter; Beth Eeftink, sister-in-law of the bride; Becky Adams, Heather Shirrell, Angie Reinhart and Kristi Hadder.
Richard Kucera of Advance was best man. Groomsmen were Blake Seabaugh, brother of the groom; Wayne Bodenstein, brother-in-law of the bride; Brian Eeftink, brother of the bride; Mike Nilsen, Justin Jones, Leo Sticht and Brandon Pobst. Ushers were Andy Lanpher and Garrett Sherman.
Miniature bride was Sydney Eeftink, niece of the bride. Her escorts were Blake and Brady Eeftink, nephews of the bride.
Flower girl was Amber VanGennip, daughter of Holly VanGennip and cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Jack Beussink, son of Randy and Chris Beussink and cousin of the groom.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
Mrs. Beussink received a bachelor of science degree and master of arts degree in communication disorders from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a speech/language pathologist with Jackson School District at North Elementary.
The groom received an associate of science degree from Murray State University and a bachelor of science degree in agbusiness from Southeast University. He is a lending assistant at Bank of Advance in Advance, Mo.
After a wedding trip to Oahu, Hawaii, the couple is residing in Advance.
