OLMSTED, Ill. -- Heather Dawn Edwards and Nicolas Bronson Biggerstaff were married Aug. 4, 2001, at First United Methodist Church in Mounds, Ill. The Rev. Gene Edwards, uncle of the bride, performed the double ring ceremony. Music was by Lorrie Dixon of Riverton, Kan., cousin of the bride.
Robert and Monica Edwards of Olmsted are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of James and Angie Biggerstaff of Grand Chain, Ill.
Matron of honor was Rene Marshall of Olmsted. Bridesmaids were Brittany Biggerstaff of Grand Chain, sister of the groom, and Lauren Doctorman of Ullin, Ill.
Curtis Marshall of Olmsted served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Nathan Bennett and Jason Edwards, brother of the bride, both of Olmsted. Ushers were Aaron Aden of Anna, Ill., and Nathan Winding of Pittsburg, Ill., cousins of the groom.
Flower girl was Tatun Hancock, daughter of Jason and Carrie Hancock of Grand Chain. Ringbearer was Nathan Austin, son of David Austin and Lauri Goins of Grand Chain and cousin of the groom.
Ashley and Cody Burd, cousins of the bride, attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Egyptian Country Club in Mounds, Ill. Servers were Judy Biggerstaff, Susan Aden and Melanie Belcher, aunts of the groom.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 3 at St. Raphael School in Mounds.
Mrs. Biggerstaff is a 1997 graduate of Meridian High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University in 2001. She is employed at First State Bank of Olmsted.
The groom is a 1996 graduate of Meridian High School, and attended Shawnee Community College. He is self-employed with Biggerstaff Construction.
The couple is residing in Olmsted.
