The bride is the daughter of Drew and Melinda Dietz of Jackson. The groom is the son of Daniel and Susan Sterling of Jackson.

Matron of honor was Jessica Sterling of Jackson, sister-in-law of the groom. Bridesmaids were Debbie Wachter of St. Louis and Amy Sterling of Jackson, sister of the groom.

John Cobb of Kirksville, Mo., was best man. Groomsmen were Chris Sterling of Jackson, brother of the groom, and Brad Holten of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Sean and Derek Dietz of St. Louis, cousins of the bride; Sam Huff and Eric Starzinger of Cape Girardeau.

Candlelighters were Rachel Ayalew of Hannibal, Mo., and Dana Dietz of St. Louis, cousins of the bride.

The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson. Servers were Denise and Janice Dietz, Sara Sitar and Becky Fox, aunts of the bride; Chris and Amber Kuehn, aunts of the groom; and Jackie and Tara Wortmann.

Mrs. Sterling is pursuing a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies. She is working in the NASA Educator Resource Center at Southeast Missouri State University, and in the library at Jackson High School.

The groom is pursuing bachelor degrees in Spanish and anthropology. He is a coordinator at Drury International Call Center.

After a wedding trip to Osage Beach, Mo., the couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
