Megan Nicole Devenport and Christopher Alan Hurst, both of Jackson, were married June 22 in a sunset wedding at Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Brice Early performed the ceremony.
Megan is the daughter of Debbie Devenport and Mark and Crescent Devenport, all of Jackson. Chris is the son of Rod and Carol Hurst of Millersville.
Maid of honor was Taylor Perkins of Jackson, friend of the bride.
Best man was Tyler Hurst of Jackson, brother of the groom.
Ringbearer was Wyatt Hurst of Jackson, nephew of the groom.
A wedding reception was held July 2 at the Arena Building in Cape Girardeau.
Megan is a 2010 graduate of Jackson High School and a 2014 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in health management -- exercise science and a minor in nutrition. She is a fitness specialist/personal trainer at Fitness Plus in Cape Girardeau.
Chris is a 2009 graduate of Jackson High School. He works as a line technician at Procter and Gamble. He also is a volunteer firefighter for the Millersville Rural Fire Department.
The couple lives in Jackson.
