Lindsay Brooke Dement and Joshua Blake Miller were married July 1, 2006, at Centenary United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jeffrey Long performed the ceremony. Soloist was Beckha Pfanstiel of Cape Girardeau.

Parents of the couple are Jerry and Toni Dement and Blake and Kathy Miller, all of Cape Girardeau.

Maid of honor was Jami Dement of Cape Girardeau, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kate Miller, sister of the groom; Stefanie Watson, Brooke Watson, Trisha Mothershead, Hannah Gandt, Lindsay Landgraf and Marci Kester, all of Cape Girardeau.

Justin Cook and Rick Davis of Cape Girardeau were best men. Groomsmen were Dustin Richardson, Jamie Hann, Justin Drury, Jeremy Franklin, Eric Bennett and Eric Niswonger, all of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Gabe Dement of Sikeston, Mo., cousin of the bride, and Russ Mothershead II of Cape Girardeau.

Candlelighters were Ainsley and Ashley Anderson, children of Tony and Martha Anderson and cousins of the groom.

Flower girls were Jessica Ryan and Audrey Keller, and ringbearer was Jake Ryan, all cousins of the bride. Jessica and Jake are children of Keith and Carmela Ryan of Fenton, Mo. Audrey is the daughter of Mary Below of Sikeston.

Lorie Bittle, Abigail Hood, Meagan Reynolds and Jill Patton, all of Cape Girardeau, were guest book attendants.

The reception was held at Deerfield Lodge.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 30 at Port Cape.

Mrs. Miller is a 2001 graduate of Central High School, and received a degree in elementary education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2005. She is a kindergarten teacher at Orchard Drive Elementary School in Jackson.

The groom is a 2000 graduate of Central High School, and received a degree in agriculture from Southeast in 2004. He is a grain merchandiser with Midwest Grain and Barge Co.

The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
