Claire Elisabeth Davis and David Anthony Umbeck were united in marriage Dec. 12, 2009, at First Presbyterian Church in Jackson. The Rev. Grant Gillard performed the ceremony. Reader was Millie Aufdenberg of Burfordville.

Parents of the couple are Bill and Julia Davis of Jackson, and John and Shirley Umbeck of Oak Ridge.

Maid of honor was Katherine Davis of Cape Girardeau, sister of the bride. Bridesmaid was Lori Williams of Cape Girardeau.

Bill Umbeck of Cape Girardeau was best man, and John Umbeck of Jackson was groomsman, both brothers of the groom. Ushers were Joshua Davis of St. Peters, Mo., brother of the bride, and Lee Floyd of Olive Branch, Miss., cousin of the bride.

Candlelighter was Sheila Sander of Jackson.

Flower girl was Jaden Davis, daughter of Katherine Davis and niece of the bride. Ringbearer was Michael Floyd, son of Lee and Tressa Floyd and cousin of the bride.

Rachel Biri of Jackson was guest book and program attendant. Dylan Aufdenberg of Burfordville handed out bubbles.

The reception was held in the church fellowship hall. Servers were ladies of the church.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Dec. 11 at Delmonico's.

Mrs. Umbeck is a 2006 graduate of Jackson High School.

The groom is a 2006 graduate of Oak Ridge High School. He is employed at VIP Industries in Fruitland.

A wedding trip is planned to Gulf Shores, Ala.

The couple is residing in Jackson.
