Sara Lynn Davie and Brandon Ellis Bradshaw were married Oct. 7, 2006, at Deerfield Lodge in Cape Girardeau. Luther Rhodes performed the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Randy and Dixie Davie of Gordonville, and Ellis and Trenna Bradshaw of Whitewater.
Matron of honor was Katy Bollinger and maid of honor was Laura Eftink, both of Gordonville and cousins of the bride. Bridesmaids were Rhiannon Davie of Jackson, sister-in-law of the bride; Jill Morgan of Chaffee, Mo.; Alexis Arnzen of Laflin, Mo.; and Logan Koch of Whitewater, cousin of the groom.
John Nothdurft of Gordonville was best man. Groomsmen were Ben Meier of Jackson; Michael Putz of Millersville; Ryan Davie of Jackson, brother of the bride; Robert Arnzen of Laflin; and Clint Bradshaw of Whitewater, brother of the groom.
Flower girls were Isabelle Smith, Morgan and Meredith Conklin, all cousins of the bride, and Regan Davie, niece of the bride. Ringbearers were Tyson Smith and Andrew Eftink, cousins of the bride. Isabelle and Tyson are the children of Casey and Heather Smith of Ashland, Mo. Morgan and Meredith are daughters of Todd and Whitney Conklin of Jackson. Regan is the daughter of Ryan and Rhiannon Davie. Andrew is the son of Rodney Eftink of Jackson.
Guest book and program attendants were Erin Wiedefeld, cousin of the bride, and Kelly Rees, both of Jackson.
A reception and dance was held at Deerfield.
Mrs. Bradshaw is a 2002 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in middle school education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2006. She is a science teacher with Scott City School District.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of Jackson High School. He is employed by Standley Batch Systems and Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center.
The couple resides near Gordonville.
