CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Suzanne Michelle Davenport and Christopher Todd Colstrom were married April 13, 2002, at Danforth Chapel in Lawrence, Kan. Ted Spencer of Cape Girardeau, uncle of the bride, performed the double ring ceremony. Flutist was Ray Lauber of Topeka, Kan., cellist was William Hanlon of Reading, Kan., and pianist was Tricia Swindale of Osage City, Kan.
The bride is the daughter of Tom Davenport of Chaffee, and the late Vicki Davenport. The groom is the son of Russ and Diana Sandy of Blue Springs, Mo., and Larry and Jeannine Colstrom of Osage City.
The bride was presented in marriage by her uncle, Tim Spencer of Lake St. Louis, Mo.
Matrons of honor were Jeanie Bess of Cape Girardeau and Lisa Neumeyer of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
Best men were Scott Colstrom of Lansing, Kan., brother of the groom, and Mike Weible of Newton Abbot, England. Ushers were Brian Spencer of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the bride, and Cory Cooper of Seattle, Wash.
Flower girl was Megan Colstrom of Lansing, Kan., niece of the groom. Ringbearer was Alex Bess of Cape Girardeau.
Sue Maurer of St. Louis attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Old Union Pacific Depot in Lawrence.
Mrs. Colstrom is a graduate of Central High School, and attended Southeast Missouri State University. She is traffic manager for Callahan Creek advertising agency in Lawrence.
The groom is a graduate of Osage City High School. He received a bachelor of arts degree in history and political science from the University of Kansas. He is a web developer for Black and Veatch in Overland Park, and is owner/developer of C21 Interactive Design in Lawrence.
The couple resides in Lawrence.
