Lisa Michelle Daugherty and Michael Joseph Gladden were married May 25, 2002, at Cape Bible Chapel. Fred Burgard performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist was Philip Redmond and soloist was Wendy Taliaferro, both of Cape Girardeau.
Parents of the bride are William and Bonnie Daugherty of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Joe and Debbie Gladden of Fenton, Mo.
Maid of honor was Mary Triefenbach of Fenton. Bridesmaids were Jayme Panice of Dixon, Ill., Roxanne Tanner of Bernie, Mo., and Katie Gladden of Fenton, sister of the groom.
Nathan Gladden of Fenton served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were James Von Dielingen of Cape Girardeau, Chris Pritchard of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., and Lance Daugherty of Jefferson City, Mo., brother of the bride. Ushers were Carl Bone and Matt Mangels of Cape Girardeau.
Flower girls were Lindsey Wolfe and Kayla Couch of Southaven, Miss., cousins of the bride. Ringbearer was John Jaeger of Ladue, Mo., cousin of the groom. Lindsey is the daughter of Brian and Lori Wolfe. Kayla is the daughter of Chris and Angie Couch. John is the son of Kurt and Carolyn Jaeger.
Sarah and Emily Hoffmann attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Drury Lodge. Servers were Kim Frazee and Michelle Burnett.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner May 24 at Port Cape.
Mrs. Gladden is a 1996 graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in health management from Southeast Missouri State University in 2000. She is employed at Korte Recreation Center in Highland, Ill.
The groom is a 1997 graduate of Northwest High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in computer science from Southeast University in 2001. He is employed by The Joseph Co. in Arnold, Mo.
The couple is residing in Highland.
