SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- St. Joseph Catholic Church was the setting for the wedding Sept. 1, 2001, of Brandi Rae Dannenmueller and Kaed Lee Horrell. The Rev. David Coon performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist was Joe Spalding of Scott City. Vocalists were Barbara Blattel and Marlene Glenn of Cape Girardeau.
Reader was Mindy Ruch of Oak Ridge, Mo., cousin of the groom. The offertory was presented by Joe Horrell of Marble Hill, Mo., and Trina Wubker of St. Louis, godparents of the groom. Mass servers were Cody, Christopher and Matthew Koehler of Scott City.
Jerome and Martha Dannenmueller of Scott City are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Norman and Nancy Horrell of Newburg, Mo.
Matron of honor was Carrie Hicks of Marion, Ark., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Tonya Schrum and Michelle Keesee of Scott City, and Joey Martin of Cape Girardeau.
The groom chose his brother, Thad Horrell of Columbia, Mo., as best man. Groomsmen were Chris Eastridge; Patrick DesPres, cousin of the groom, both of Cape Girardeau; and Dave Carroll of St. Louis. Ushers were Scott Dannenmueller of Chaffee, Mo., brother of the bride, and Rodney Horrell of St. Louis, cousin of the groom.
Candlelighters were Brooke Hicks of Marion, Ark., niece of the bride, and Emily Ruch of Oak Ridge, cousin of the groom.
Flower girl was Megan Horman of Scott City, niece of the bride. Ringbearer was Zachary Dannenmueller of Chaffee, nephew of the bride.
Guest book and program attendants were Amanda Schaefer of Scott City, cousin of the bride, and Collin Dannenmueller of Chaffee, nephew of the bride.
Following the ceremony, the reception and dance was held at the VFW Hall in Morley, Mo.
The rehearsal dinner was held Aug. 31 at the VFW Hall.
Mrs. Horrell is a 1994 graduate of Scott City High School, and 1995 graduate of Metro Business College. She is a medical transcriptionist at Cape Radiology Group.
The group is a 1993 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a bachelor's degree in recreation from Southeast Missouri State University in 1998. He is a recreation coordinator with city of Cape Girardeau.
The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
